Following the Review Session conducted by the Clinical Skills Center last 26 September 2020, the Interns finally took the test for clinical skills.
The twelve (12) interns were routed to clinically-simulated stations and demonstrated the randomly selected procedural skills on Intra-Venous Cannulation, Urine Catheterization, Naso-Gastric Tube Insertion and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Mastery of the clinical skills is one of the requirements for these interns’ graduation. Lucky, as they are, to have in the university a skills laboratory that qualifies them to practice basic and advanced medical skills with ease and expertise. More so, the Skills Laboratory have skillful tutors assisting them through.
Mentoring the skills examination last Saturday were the following tutors: Dr. Mohammad Rhouma, Dr. Owreida Manna, Dr. Sara Al-Magerhe and Dr. Aya Al-Shalmanni. And, facilitated by the Center Administrator, Mari Cari.
Good job, Interns!
